How To Make Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli
This no-fuss Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli recipe takes store-bought ravioli and turns it into the perfect crispy, cheesy snack or easy dinner. Great for busy families, game-day gatherings, holiday appetizers, or just a fun weeknight meal.

I’m becoming somewhat of an Air Fryer Queen in my house! I love that food comes out cripsy and golden brown like fried fods do, but without the fat and calories of frying. And air frying is done in a fraction of the time it takes to fry something tradionally in hot oil.

Pasta Breading Method for a Crispy and Flavorful Exterior
Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli is my newest air fried snack obsession. The breading step looks like it might be complicated, but honestly, it couldn’t be easier!
A helpful tip when it comes to battering or breading anything is to set up a little assembly line. Line up you separate bowls of your liquid (egg and milk in this case), along side of your seasoned breading bowl, with separate forks and spoons in each bowl. This way you can quickly dip the food in each dish without crossing the utensils and creating a gloppy mess.

The secret to a consistently crispy crust is to freeze the breaded ravioli for a bit. This gives the breading time to set, so you won’t end up with any soggy spots.
After a quick freeze, bop them in the air fryer basket, and they come out as delicious, crispy and perfectly seasoned pillows of cheesy goodness every time.
Ingredients
- Cheese ravioli– I like this brand or this brand because the are both square and easier to pick u and eat. Find ravioli in refrigerator section of your grocery store. You can use frozen ravioli as well, but thaw it before making this recipe.
- Eggs
- Milk– I prefer 2% as its a little thicker which is helpful to breading to stick to
- Bread crumbs– plain as we will season them ourselves (I like this brand and this brand)
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Marinara sauce for dipping- store bought or make your own with this recipe

Instructions
If using frozen ravioli, thaw it prior to starting to bread. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of milk to create an egg mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese, 1T of Italian seasoning, and 1/8 t garlic powder, 1/4t salt and 1/8t black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Dip each ravioli in the egg wash, then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture. Press ravioli into mixture and make sure its fully coated. Transfer back into the egg mixture and then back to the breading mixture so each ravioli has a double coat of the seasoned breading exterior.

Lay breaded ravioli on lines baking sheet and freeze for at least 20 minutes. Tip: you can prep these ahead of time and let them freeze for several hours or even overnight. Just cover them with tin foil or plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.
Transfer frozen ravioli to the air fryer basket and cook at 400 °F for 7 minutes or until golden brown. Note: work in batches. You want to only cook a single layer of ravioli at a time, so you may have to cook in 2 or 3 batches depending on the size of you air fryer.

Warm marinara sauce. Transfer cooked ravioli to a platter and sprinkle with additional shredded cheese or fresh herbs for garnish (both optional).

Serve while warm with a side of marinara sauce.

Storing, Freezing & Reheating Leftovers
Store in the fridge: Let cool, then transfer to an airtight container. Keeps fresh for up to 3 days.
Freeze for later: Store in a sealed freezer-safe bag in freezer for up to 3 months.
Reheat instructions: Place cold ravioli back in the air fryer at 375 °F for 2–4 minutes, until warm and crispy. If frozen, add another 1-2 minutes to cook time.
