This no-fuss Air Fryer Toasted Ravioli recipe takes store-bought ravioli and turns it into the perfect crispy, cheesy snack or easy dinner. Perfect for busy families, game-day gatherings, holiday appetizers, or just a fun weeknight meal.
If using frozen ravioli, thaw it prior to starting.. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, whisk 2 eggs and 1/2 cup of milk to create an egg mixture.
In a separate bowl, combine 1 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese, 1T of Italian seasoning, 1/8 t garlic powder, 1/4t salt and 1/8t black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
Dip each ravioli in the egg wash, then transfer to the breadcrumb mixture. Press ravioli into mixture and make sure its fully coated. Transfer back into the egg mixture and then back to the breading mixture so each ravioli has a double coat of the seasoned breading exterior.
Lay breaded ravioli on lines baking sheet and freeze for at least 20 minutes. Tip: you can prep these ahead of time and let them freeze for several hours or even overnight. Just cover them with tin foil or plastic wrap to prevent freezer burn.
Transfer frozen ravioli to the air fryer basket and cook at 400 °F for 7 minutes or until golden brown. Note: work in batches. You want to only cook a single layer of ravioli at a time, so you may have to cook in 2 or 3 batches depending on the size of you air fryer.
Warm marinara sauce. Transfer cooked ravioli to a platter and sprinkle with additional shredded cheese or fresh herbs for garnish (both optional).
Serve while warm with a side of marinara sauce.
