Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (I like this one)
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning
  • 4 T dill dip (like this one or make your own here)
  • 8 slider buns
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce

Instructions

  • In a crock pot, add 1lb chicken breasts and 1 cup of buffalo sauce. Tip: Since I am never sure if my guests will like super spicy dishes, I use a mild buffalo sauce. If you'd like more heat, opt for a hot buffalo sauce.
  • Sprinkle 1 packet of ranch seasoning over chicken and place lid on top of slow cooker.
  • Cook on high heat for 4-5 hours or low heat for 6-7 hours.
  • Once chicken is fully cooked and the interior temperature is 165 degrees, use two forks to shred the chicken.
  • Grab your slider buns and spread 1/2 T of dill dip on bun. Scoop 1/4 c of shredded chicken mixture on each bun and top with shredded lettuce. Replace lid of bun.
  • Serve on a large tray or platter. Optional: Sprinkle with additional shredded lettuce or chopped celery leaves for garnish.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
