Filled with Halloween fun, these no bake spider cookies only require 4 ingredients, take just a few minutes to put together, and are simple enough to make with young kids.
Make sure that you are using the Double Stuf Oreo cookies so that you have enough room to fit the pretzel sticks into the filling between the cookies. You will want a fresh pack so that the cream filling is soft and easy to work with.
Slowly insert a pretzel sticks into the cream filling between the chocolate cookies. You may have to twist the pretzel stick back and forth a bit to get in. Use your thumb and index finger to lightly press on the cookies to keep it from splitting open while you push the pretzels in. Place three pretzel sticks on each side of the cookie for a total of six. Leave approximately 1/2 an inch between each stick. Angle the upper and lower sticks a bit to give the look of spider legs.
Place a tiny dab of the chocolate icing on the backside of the candy eyes and place them onto the Oreo spiders.
Wait a few minutes for the icing to harden so that they eyes don’t shift. Stack them on a plate or tray for serving.
Notes
If you want to be more realistic with these little guys, you can give them 8 legs. I feel like it throws the salty to sweet ratio off to add that many pretzels, so I prefer 6 legs, but make these your own, and add however many legs you prefer.Store leftovers in an airtight container.Looking for more easy Halloween recipes?
